Software Develpment 

Senior PHP Developer 

The candidate will be working with internal company projects of Global Messaging Platform.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a good standard of coding and adhere to the same conventions as the rest of the team.

  • Testing code, both client and server side

  • Take ownership of projects and present proposed solutions to the wider team and non-technical staff.

  • Work in a DevOps capacity and reach a degree of competency in maintaining development server and migrating work in progress to UAT/testing servers.

  • Be willing to work in a research capacity – to find and test and critically review open-source frameworks and technologies.

Knowledge & Experience Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of PHP with substantial professional experience

  • Good understanding and effective application of Linux command-line.

  • Knowledge of off the shelf CMS packages (ideally Concrete 5)

  • Ability to code and debug in:

    • HTML

    • CSS (responsive design framework)

    • JavaScript / jQuery.

  • Experience of implementing Google Analytics code and debugging

  • Experience of using version control:

    • Github

    • Subversion

  • Robust knowledge and understanding of Databases (MySql/ MariaDB)

  • REST, SOAP API knowledge

  • Strong SQL knowledge with expertise in MySQL

  • Working knowledge of XML/JSON and using 3rd party API’s.

  • Experience of MVC frameworks/architecture:

    • Symfony 2 (or similar)

    • Codeigniter

  • Excellent team player​


Global Messaging Platform Support Analyst L2

Job summary:

Works closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.

  •  Understand the use of operating systems, hardware environments, software, networking, 

  •  Excellent general IT skills, strong knowledge of current technologies with SQL scripting ability an advantage.

  •  Strong experience in issue resolution, issue prioritization, customer management and technical account management.

  •  Strong experience in tracking customer issues through to resolution and providing regular status reports to customers and internal teams.

  • Linux/Unix middle skills, experience in reading log files.


Global Messaging Platform Account Manager 

What you’ll do:

  • Come be our clients/partners primary contact to ensure innovative solutions, satisfaction and quality work.

  • You’ll conduct client/partner meetings and site walk-through’s, present opportunities for enhancements and ensure landscape maintenance operations meet quality and safety standards. 

  • You will develop a sense of pride from your focus on sales, customer care and relationship-building.

Skills we’re seeking:

  • Along with a high degree of self-initiative and integrity, the professional we seek has an associate’s degree or higher in a business field or equivalent work experience, at least 5 years of relevant field or account management experience, and the ability to deliver on-point customer solutions. 

  • Familiarity with maintenance estimating and pricing skills is required, along with an adaptable nature in an ever changing environment, relationship building talent and a sales focus. 

  • Prior experience in our industry and local market is preferred.
